Women's Day Celebration 2026

The Diocese of Nashik organized Women’s Day celebration in different parishes as follows:

Holy Cross Church, Nashik City, St Teresa Church, Haregaon, St John Church, Bhingar, Ahilyanagar and Holy Cross Sisters compound, Panodi.

The theme of Women’s Day celebration was TO GIVE IS TO GAIN. The day was filled with fun, games, interactive activities and cultural programmes.

The speakers of the day inspired the women gathered to live their lives with dignity and respect; they were also given inputs on their duties and rights to be observed in their homes, neighbourhood and society; they were motivated to walk as empowered and courageous women. It was a reminder to them to celebrate their womanhood daily rather than only on Women’s Day. The life experiences of all the Resource Persons gave insight to the women present for the celebration to face the life courageously.

The celebration enthused women to bring up their daughters as confident and vibrant citizens. The talk of the Resource Persons ended when some of the women present for the gathering came forward to share their daring spirit and boost the confidence of other women. Indeed, the day was dedicated to unleash the hidden potentials of women.
